For anyone that doesn’t know me, my name is Shelby, and I am so happy you’re here on this fun little decorating adventure with me! Let me give you a little backstory on how I found myself decorating homes. 

 

My fiancé Joey and I built our dream home in 2019 in south Edmonton. The building process stressed me out because we wanted to make some upgrades on a budget, and we also had to pick out all our finishings without ever seeing how they would look in the home. To help myself through the process, I started building digital inspiration boards for each room. Before I knew it, I had created an entire 3D walk-through rendering of our home that hadn’t even begun construction. Doing this allowed me to see everything I wanted to purchase and put in our home before it was built. I chose colors and started buying furniture, textiles, decor, wallpaper, you name it! I promise it was all piled in my parents' basement… lol! My mom still likes to bring this up. Once the creative juices were flowing, I came up with a whole plan to save money by updating our blank slate of a home. My family and I painted, wallpapered, stenciled, shiplapped, the list goes on. I learned so much and now know which things I will hire others to do in the future... haha! With that said, and after all that sweat equity, I could not be happier with how my home turned out. I’m already thinking about the next house... don’t tell Joey ;) 

 

Flash forward to six months ago, my best friend and I convinced her mom to let us decorate the main floor of their home. She agreed, and the rest is history. I’ve now done three large-scale projects and keep getting requests for more, so I figured why not give this whole interior decorating thing a real shot. Honestly, nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients fall head over heels in love with their spaces again. 

 

I have so many ideas swirling in my head at all times of the day. My brain is pretty much a Pinterest board at this point. I would love to meet with you and see your spaces and come up with a plan to make your dreams a reality! Even if you don’t have a starting point, I can send you ideas until we narrow it down to something you love. P.S. Before you ask, the love of my life in the photo is Sven. He’s our now one-year-old Bernedoodle. And yes, he is absolutely named after the reindeer in Frozen.
